The DEFA classic "Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel" not only inspires millions of television viewers year after year, it is also a magnet for visitors to Moritzburg Castle in winter. The completely redesigned permanent exhibition is all about that special feeling that enthusiastic fans associate with their Aschenbrödel. The visitor gets his own magic hazelnut, which reveals little secrets to him as he roams through the scenes of the film. Between iconic GDR cinema seats, real Saxon spruce, and an interactive recording studio, there is also lots of information about the GDR cinema of the 70s.
