• The Prussian Royal House. An introduction to the dynasty.

    Permanent exhibition, Charlottenburg Castle

    Realisation: 2018
Client: Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Gärten Berlin-Brandenburg

This exhibition traces the beginnings of the rule of the Hohenzollerns over Prussia. As a building block in the overall concept of a new design for the palace, it defines new cubatures, materials and colours, as well as new types of communication and inclusive approaches. The exhibition elements create a valuable stage for exhibits and special highlights such as the Prussian Crown Treasure, which can be viewed from all sides and in optimal lighting. Peppered with interactive media elements, the exhibition creates the prelude to a restrained but contemporary way of storytelling in historic castles.
