Charlottenburg Palace was primarily shaped by its respective residents and uses. The exhibition shows the changes under Frederick the Great in the historical rooms of the New Wing and expands the view of the changes of this epoch beyond Charlottenburg. Combined with high-quality art objects, an inclusive and versatile mediation was the most important goal. To this end, different tactile and visual approaches were developed, tested and implemented. Always with the aim of expanding this type of mediation to other parts of the museum and gradually making the castle barrier-free and opening it up to a larger audience.
