The 1000-year history of the Wartburg is colorful and diverse. What was created within these walls, more than once had an effect far beyond the borders of Thuringia. In 10 chapters, the exhibition explores the past, but also the future of this “ideal” castle. Depending on their interest, visitors can choose content from the central "monument base". Through that new individual tours through history are created again and again.
