With the completion of the princely apartments, Torgau finally becomes one of the most important centres of power in the German Empire, but the political turmoil of the Reformation comes to a head! War is imminent!
The exhibition takes the visitor on a journey through the glory years at the Ernestine court. The elector and electress themselves tell their story and animations, as well as high-quality reconstructions make lost 16th-century furnishings visible again.
