This exhibition shows perhaps one of the most interesting and versatile members of the Saxon royal family: Prince George of Saxony. The busy prince, who was interested in religious objects from all over Europe, left a rich collection of objects. Woven into a story in the look of Indiana Jones, his motives and, above all, the stories behind the multitude of exciting objects are explored. According to the different places of origin, the small exhibition is architecturally divided into different areas. Visualized travel diaries, photos and expedition equipment form the basis of the narrative and lead the visitor to the most remote places.
